Wednesday, 07. April 2021 Great conditions on the southern arch of the Alps translate news

A 1000 k flight would have been possible, estimated yesterday Rainer Cronjäger after his 800 k in the Southern Alps. In fact it were 1158 kilometers, as Alessandro Busca proved with his Ventus 2cxa from Aosta. In 10:31 hours, Busca streched a 758 k triangle between Mezzana in Val di Sole and a turnpoint near Cuneo over the southern arch of the Alps.
Rainer Cronjäger started with his ASH 31 in Alzate, south of Lake Como, and shuttled between Lienz in East Tyrol and Domodossola below Monte Rosa. His impressions in the north wind: Great visibility, showers, blue thermal, cloud thermal, slope, wave and 'beautiful' lee. With his photos in the OLC report he brought great insights into the Dolomites.
