Forecast looked grim but turned out to be a great day at SCOH. I had a bad task speed so I'll just say I flew for miles. Blue around the field, I was worried the clouds to the West were going to disappear so I started early, big mistake. Tip toed to the clouds on the first leg, was never able to get the speed up enough after that. ceilings eventually got to 7000' with great streets. I had one thermal averaged at 10.2 knots. Hit a good thermal with a hawk right at the finish, decided not to upset the thermal gods so I took it up to get a few more miles. Keep these days coming!
