08/29/2019 Great day to be a bird. Wheels up at 2 pm. The CU looked real good. I decided at the start after release to head south to Hillsboro and moving further south to West. From West, I turned NE to Ennis. From Ennis, I worked my way over to Waxahachie and back to TSA. This flight only took 2.5 hrs. If I was flying a PW-5 it would be a 4-hour flight. I needed more flight time so I arrived back at TSA and took a thermal back to 5800 ft. At this point, I just made a lap around the usual landmarks or airports to add a few more OLC flying points. The flight was about 3 hours. I never got lower than 4000 ft for most of the flight. Max altitude was about 6200. I'm running out of a map to the south. I need to review the charts so I can go further south and figure a longer all-around flight cross country back to TSA.
