Interesting diverse day. Strong northerly winds were forecast. Started with plenty of lennies around but they were dissipating by the time I took off but that didn't stop me from looking for a wave entry for an hour. Did connect with weak wave but not for long. Very complex sky. The further west I went the lower the wind but lots of heavy thick layer cloud. Got onto the eastern end of the Mt Stuart ridge before giving up and heading for sunlight. Had to go all the way to the Palisades to find a climb. Ended up back at Ephrata. Went south on a cloud street then north on the windward side of the street up past the north end of Banks Lake. Great run home in smooth zero to +2 air under the more centered part of the cloud street. Not the most efficient way of doing a triangle.
